As part of the Vienna Swimming Pool Construction Program 2030, the Höpflerbad in Vienna-Liesing is being expanded to include a modern indoor swimming pool. The goal is to expand public swimming facilities in the 23rd district and make them accessible year-round.
A compact indoor pool with clear orientation and barrier-free access is being built on approximately 2,000 m² of gross floor space.
Specific features
- A multi-purpose pool (25 x 16 m) with one- and three-meter diving boards
- A teaching pool (13 x 9 m)
- A toddler pool (5 x 3 m)
- District heating, hybrid collectors, and heat pumps for energy supply
- Green roofs and facades
